There are good reasons for the standardization of products. Standards help in understanding, further rationalization, facilitate quality assurance and provide reliability and safety.
In particular, for the charging of electric vehicles to the network of energy suppliers, there is a great need for standardization. As an advocate of product standardization at high technical and safety standards, REMA is working on the adherence to the generally accepted regulations, and that the current state of technology is taken into account. In doing this we are actively engaged with the following organizations:
AG4 – The National Platform for Electric Mobility. The Working Group 4 “Norms, Standardization and Certification” is part of the National Platform for Electric Mobility, an advisory body to the German Federal Government for electric mobility. For more information: www.forum-elektromobilitaet.de
DKE – The “Deutsche Kommission Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik im DIN und VDE” [German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies with regard to DIN and VDE] serves as a service organization for the safe and efficient production, distribution and use of electricity and so the benefit of the public.
