International encounters, innovation and an eye to the future: student exchanges at REMA

As part of a transatlantic exchange program – supported by TheHalleFoundation, GAPP and Transatlantic Career Fellows – 60 students from the USA, St. Josef Gymnasium in Rheinbach and Marienschule in Euskirchen visited the REMA Group in Rheinbach for two mornings.
The exchange offered the young people the opportunity to experience not only the theory, but also the reality in the manufacturing of connectors, plastic components in injection molding and contact production in metal processing. The focus was also on project work relating to the implementation of cobots (collaborative robots) in industrial production.
