Our high-quality cables, designed to meet future requirements, are MRC / DIN and flat contact connectors up to 320A. In the high current range (rated current II), MRC standard connections are available up to 400A and DIN connectors up to 640A. On customer request, our connectors can communicate via RFID technology.

MRC

As a premium product, REMA MRC`s (Molded REMA Connectors) come in a premium quality standard. The transition from the conductor to the contact has been overmolded to create a gas-tight seal. The cable and connector form an inseparable unit with the MRC. Outstanding performance features are the result, especially in combination with REMAFlex cables. An increased electric current flow enables faster charging processes – for the user this means enhanced efficiency through time savings. The standard protection class IP 23 (optional IP 54) ensures safety when operating under difficult working conditions.

Model MRC 80 / 160 / 320 Connectors The Molded REMA Connector (MRC) is a patented high-performance connector that has been developed especially for fast and intermediate charging of large battery capacities and complies with the DIN VDE 0623-589 and EN 1175-1 standards. The MRC is available in sizes 80, 160 and 320 and has conductor cross-sections from 16 mm2 to 95 mm2 depending on the size.
Model MRC 120 / 250 / 400 connectors As market requirements have increased, so have the power transmissions. Our MRC connectors are high-current capable and meet the requirements of DIN VDE 0623-589 (rated current II) with the corresponding conductor cross-sections.
Model MRC with REMAFlex cable In combination with our REMAFlex cables, which have a special isolation cover, this results in a significantly increased load capacity and long service life. The design of the REMA MRC high-performance connectors is the same as the REMA DIN 80, 160 and 320 series, ensuring that all accessories such as auxiliary and pilot contacts, coding pins, air adapters or handles from these ranges can be used without any restrictions.

IRC

As a premium product, the REMA IRC connector comes in a very high-quality design. The increased current flow enables faster charging processes – for the user this means higher efficiency through time savings. The standard protection class IP 23 (optional IP 54) provides safety when used in difficult working conditions.

The compact design in proven REMA quality guarantees trouble-free use even in challenging applications. IRC connectors can be combined and installed with any cable according to customer specifications.

CONNECTOR IRC 160

Model IRC80, IRC160 and IRC320 The polymer overmoulding used in IRC technology provides additional protection for the electrical contact. The contacts developed by REMA are made of electrolytic copper with a silver-plated surface and anti-slip protection to ensure efficient and safe energy transport during a long service life. The IRC connector complements the REMA DIN and REMA MRC product lines and can be extended with all available coding pins, auxiliary and pilot contacts of the MRC series.

DIN

REMA DIN connectors are characterized by their outstanding robustness and longevity. They have been established on the market for decades and are very compatible with a variety of connectors. They also offer a wide range of accessories and cost-effective spare parts. Due to a special thermal treatment, the contacts are optimized for crimp connections. This reduces gas inclusions in the transition area between the cable and contact, preventing corrosion caused by oxygen and sulphur. The contact resistance and the thermal load of the connection are minimized, and the service life of the connector has been extended significantly. For further optimization, we recommend a most reliable connection with a REMAFlex cable.

SR/SRE

REMA flat blade connectors comply with the European standard EN 1175-1. The available colors red, blue, black and light grey are used to identify specific operating voltages. This coding avoids the over-plugging of components with different voltages.

The plug and socket of the REMA flat blade contacts have identical housings and contacts. The resulting reduction in the number of components means lower procurement and less storage costs for users.
